AUSTIN (KXAN) — As temperatures continue to hold in the low 40s, some Central Texans are seeing flurries come down in their area.

Several KXAN viewers have reported seeing the winter precipitation in Cedar Park, Leander and Fredericksburg.

Kimberly McCann in Cedar Park shot video of what looks likes like a mixture of snow flurries in her neighborhood.

Around 4 p.m., people living in Wimberley saw a good dose of heavier snow.

If you capture any winter weather, send it to our Report It here and you might see it online or on air!

A freeze warning has been issued for Central Texas from midnight until 9 a.m. Friday. If you’re out driving overnight, make sure you’re especially cautious around bridges and overpasses in case there is ice on the roads. provides commenting to allow for constructive discussion on the stories we cover.
