ROCKPORT, Texas (KXAN) — First Lady Melania Trump and Second Lady Karen Pence will both visit Rockport, Texas for the second time this year for Hurricane Harvey relief Wednesday.

The two are expected to arrive in Corpus Christi and then travel to Rockport to meet with a family whose home was destroyed by Harvey. The women will also see the family’s new manufactured housing unit which is being provided by the Federal Emergency Management Agency.

Trump and Pence will also visit an elementary school to speak with faculty and students about how the hurricane impacted their school year. They will finish their trip with a stop at the food bank to help sort boxes of donations.

“As Christmas and the New Year approach, I encourage people to lend their time volunteering or providing financial support to those still reeling from the hurricanes,” said Trump in a statement.

“Our hearts are encouraged by the people of Texas and their continued enthusiasm to help each other pick up the pieces and rebuild after Hurricane Harvey,” Pence added.
