Walk Now For Autism Speaks

On Monday’s show, host Amanda Tatom spoke with Suzanne Byrne, program director of Williams Community School, and parent, Jessica Leschl, from Autism Speaks. They were in the studio to bring awareness to the Walk Now for Autism Speaks that takes place September 27th at Camp Mabry. Jessica shared the experience of her daughter, Jackie, who was diagnosed at age 3 and is learning to communicate with an iPad. Suzanne discussed things to look for when choosing the right school for your autistic child.
