- Severe Thunderstorm Warning For
Caldwell County
East Central Comal County
Western Dewitt County
Gonzales County
Guadalupe County
Southeastern Hays County
Karnes County
Eastern Wilson County
- Until 945 Pm Cst.
- At 840 Pm Cst Nws Meteorologists Have Detected A Line Of Severe
Thunderstorms Capable Of Producing Damaging Winds In Excess Of 60
Mph. These Storms Were Located Along A Line Extending From Canyon
Lake Dam To Geronimo To 10 Miles North Of Stockdale To Kosciusko To
13 Miles Southwest Of Karnes City Or Along A Line Extending From
Canyon Lake Dam To 7 Miles North Of Seguin To 10 Miles North Of
Stockdale To Kosciusko To 13 Miles Southwest Of Karnes City And
Moving East At 40 Mph.

This Is A Dangerous Storm. If You Are In Its Path Prepare
Immediately For Damaging Winds Destructive Hail And Deadly Cloud
To Ground Lightning. People Outside Should Move To A Shelter
Preferably Inside A Strong Building But Away From Windows.
Doppler Radar Has Indicated Some Weak Rotation Within This Storm.
While Not Immediately Likely A Tornado May Still Develop. If A
Tornado Is Spotted Act Quickly And Move To A Place Of Safety In A
Sturdy Structure Such As A Basement Or Small Interior Room.
A Severe Thunderstorm Watch Remains In Effect Until 1000 Pm Cst
Saturday Evening For South Central Texas.

A Flash Flood Warning Remains In Effect Until 1015 Pm Cst For
Williamson Travis And Hays Counties
At 803 Pm Cst Nws Meteorologists Continued To Detect A Line Of
Thunderstorms Training And Producing Flash Flooding Over The Warned
Area Which Includes Nearly All Of Travis Williamson And Hays
Counties. Radar Estimates And Surface Observations Suggest That 3 To
5 Inches Of Rain Have Already Fallen Over This Area. The Slow Moving
Line Of Thunderstorms Suggests That An Additional 1 To 2 Inches Of
Rain Could Fall By 930 Pm Cdt.
Due To Earlier Heavy Rains Larger Creeks And Streams Such As
Onion Creek Brushy Creek And Williamson Creek Are Expected To
See New Rises And Will Likely Exceed Bankfull Resulting In
Numerous Closures Of Secondary Roads And Low Water Crossings.

Country And Urban Areas. A Few Larger Streams May Exceed
Bankfull For A Few Hours Leading To Road Closures.

- Small Stream Flood Advisory For
Northeastern Blanco County
Northwestern Hays County
- Until 1000 Pm Cst
- At 655 Pm Cst National Weather Service Meteorologists Have
Detected Thunderstorms With Heavy Rainfall Across The Advisory
Area. Doppler Radar Estimates Suggest That 2 To 4 Inches Of Rain
Will Have Fallen Over Eastern Blanco And Western Hays County By
730 Pm With 1 To 2 Inches Of Rain Possibly Falling Since 6 Pm.
- Runoff From This Excessive Rainfall Will Cause Minor Flooding To
Occur Especially Along Small Streams And Near Low Water
Crossings. Some Locations That Will Experience Minor Flooding
Include Cypress Mill Henly And Pedernales Falls State Park.

Taylor To 6 Miles Northwest Of New Braunfels And Moving East At 20
Mph.
Hail Up To The Size Of Nickels And Wind Gusts Up To 50 Mph Are
Expected With These Storms Along With Heavy Rain And Frequent
Dangerous Lightning.
