WASHINGTON, D.C. (KXAN) — A Christmas party for the canines happened Monday in the nation’s capital. A few members of congress and staffers were there, too.
It was all for the first-ever “bi-pawtisan howliday” party — in which House members and their staff brought their dogs to the U.S. Capitol. Dogs big and small showed up in their best outfits. Some sported full-on elf costumes or reindeer antlers, while others went with festive collars instead.
Rep. Lamar Smith from Texas hosted the bash alongside two representatives from Florida.
