AUSTIN (KXAN) — From Big Bend to the Hill Country and deep South Texas, snow blanketed large swaths of the Lone Star State Thursday.

Photos from Big Bend National Park and the Davis Mountains show heavy snowfall that looks more like the Rockies.

In Central Texas, sleet and gusty winds have hit the Austin-area, and viewers have been quick to send in video and photos of the snow flurries.

If you are around the state and have snow photos or video, send them to our Report It here.
