Wells Fargo Bank robbed in north Austin

AUSTIN (KXAN) — Police are responding to a bank robbery in north Austin Wednesday afternoon.

The robbery call came in just before 4:30 p.m. at the Wells Fargo bank at the corner of Interstate 35 and East Braker Lane. No one was injured in the robbery.

The suspect is described as a white man between 40-50 years old. He is 5-foot-8 to 5-foot-10 with a thin build. He was last seen wearing a blue jacket, gray hat and blue jeans. Surveillance pictures show the suspect wore eyeglasses and had ear buds in.
