WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Texas (KXAN) — Neighbors in the Pioneer Crossing subdivision east of Round Rock were told to stay inside Wednesday night as heavy police activity descended on the area.

Around 11:38 p.m., Williamson County Sheriff Robert Chody said a suspect is in custody and an all clear is expected shortly. While deputies did not say what they were responding to, the department asked neighbors who see suspicious people to call 911. Deputies put out a tweet warning residents of the situation at 11:11 p.m. Wednesday.

The neighborhood is located just north of the intersection of State Highway 79 and Red Bud Lane.
