AUSTIN (KXAN) — A woman who died in a crash on Thanksgiving night in east Austin has been identified as 27-year-old Miranda Ashley Stark.
Austin police say Stark was driving westbound on East Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard just past Springdale Road around 10:39 p.m. at a high rate of speed when, for unknown reasons, she drove off the road and onto the grassy shoulder. Stark then made it back to the road but crossed both westbound lanes and struck a vehicle in the eastbound lanes.
Stark was ejected from her 2001 Lexus. Stark and her passenger were taken to the hospital where Stark later died.
