ROUND ROCK, Texas (KXAN) — A pedestrian was hit and killed on Interstate 35 in Round Rock, just south of State Highway 45, police said.

The northbound lanes of I-35 were shut down for nearly four hours starting around 7:17 p.m., and reopened Wednesday night.

Now Round Rock Police Department is working to identify the woman who died. They say she is African-American or hispanic and about 35-45 years old. She’s between 5-foot-3 and 5-foot-5 and weighs about 150-160 pounds. She was wearing a dark gray, patterned Texas Rangers baseball cap, a black-over-red shirt, black tights with skull-and-crossbones on them, and red-and-black basketball style shoes.

No one else was injured in the crash and no charges have been filed.
