AUSTIN (KXAN) — Austin police are working a bank robbery at a strip mall along East Ben White Boulevard Wednesday.

The Wells Fargo bank at 500 E. Ben White Blvd., just west of Interstate 35, was robbed around 12:13 p.m. Police say the suspect entered the bank and handed the teller a note demanding money.

The suspect left the scene in a white 2006-2010 “Eddie Bauer” edition Ford Explorer with silver trim and running boards.

No one was injured during the robbery.

Austin police describe the suspect a white man in his mid-30s. He is around 6 feet tall and 185 pounds. He was last seen wearing a blue/orange Texas Longhorns hat with a blue long-sleeved button-up shirt as well as blue jeans. He also had on a Longhorns drawstring bag.
