35-acre brush fire contained in Manor

MANOR, Texas (KXAN) — Firefighters battled a 35-acre brush fire along Old Highway 20 in Manor, Thursday. Five agencies were involved in fighting the fire, as some remain at the scene to make the sure the fire stays out.

Fire crews were called at 13115 Old Highway 20, near Old Kimbro Road, around 3:55 p.m. No structures were damaged and no one was injured.

STAR Flight and Austin police helicopters were called to help. The cause of the fire was not immediately known.
