SWAT call in south Austin ends peacefully

AUSTIN (KXAN) — Austin police and SWAT crews were in south Austin Sunday night after reports of a person barricaded inside a home.

Crews responded to the 2400 block of Katy Cove near Barton Hills around 9:11 p.m.

At around 10:13 p.m., crews were able to ended the standoff when the man exited the home.

No further information has been released at this time.
