AUSTIN (KXAN) — The eastbound US 290 flyover is back open at Interstate 35 after a pedestrian was hit by a car Wednesday morning.

The crash happened around just before 7 a.m. Austin-Travis County EMS says the man who was hit by a car appears to be in his 20s and was taken to the hospital for treatment. His condition is unknown at this time.

The flyover was closed for several hours but reopened around 10 a.m.
