It is times like these that are great for local businesses financially. The managers of the Burnet coffee shop Monkey Nest, say the combination of cold weather and finals has drawn in many people to not only keep warm, but to study.

University of Texas students have finals until Dec. 14, meaning 24-hour shops like Monkey Nest are the perfect place for all-night study marathons. Managers say business increases by significant percentages during this time so they welcome icy dips in temperatures.
