A sleek and elegant interior with inventive and inspired Italian cuisine is a recipe for fantastic at Juniper in East Austin. Amanda dropped in to find out more. She met Chef Nick Yanes who showed her around the upscale, yet comfortable space that was a former Pepsi-cola distributing facility. She also got to try a very exotic dish – Cavatelli with squid ink in the dough. It was topped with spicy tomato sauce, squid, garlic oil and chives garnished with some fresh mint.
