Four Tips for Making the Perfect Holiday Wreath

We get started today by decking the halls with one of the favorite symbols of the season… the wreath! Brooke Anderson is an interior designer and owner of Bay Hill Design. She stopped by to show us more on making the perfect one for our home. The first tip we talked about was what greenery to use for your wreath. The next tip was a trick for making the perfect bow. Fold wired ribbon 4-5 times and then use another piece of ribbon to tie it to the wreath. You can even use a third piece of ribbon to add color and hang the wreath to a door or another object. Picking a theme and what goes in the wreath is also important. We used gold ornaments, pine cones and items of the same color together in our’s. You can tie these items into the wreath easily with floral wire. The last tip was all about wreath placement. The front door is a popular spot, but they can also look great on mirrors, on bathroom doors and small wreaths can hang on the back of chairs. This would make holiday parties even more festive.
