How to Use Brush Lettering on Holiday Cards

If perfect penmanship was never your thing, Austin Learnshop can change all that and have your handwriting be the envy of all your friends just in time to address those holiday cards and packages too. Jordan Jennings dropped by to give us a lesson. We used watercolor paper for our painting. First we dipped our brushes in water, then in paint, and then back in water. The key to gorgeous writing is less pressure on the down strokes, and more pressure when you go up on a line. Austin Learnshop is holding a course on brush lettering soon, along with other classes like woodworking and cooking. To see what classes are coming up at Austin Learnshop or to register online, go to austinlearnshop.com.
