AUSTIN (KXAN) — While it is still four months away, South by Southwest has announced the 2017 Gaming Expo will nearly double in size.

For the first time organizers will also sell gaming wristbands. Previously the event was free to attend.

Now you can purchase a $20 pass for one day, or a $39 pass for all three days. If you decide to attend the event last minute, don’t worry you can also buy passes at the door for a little bit more.

The festival also has plans for a new headquarters coming to the Austin skyline by the year 2019.  The 12-story building will break ground during the summer of 2017 on the 1400 block of Lavaca.
