AUSTIN (KXAN) — Here are some ideas from Free Fun in Austin that won’t cost you a dime.

  1. Mozart’s Christmas Light Show – Monday, November 28 – Friday, December 2 from 6:00 p.m. – close. Enjoy a free musical Christmas light show! The show plays at the top of each hour, starting at 6 p.m. FREE! Mozart’s Coffee Roasters, 3825 Lake Austin Blvd., Austin.
  2. The Driskill Tree Lighting – Tuesday, November 29 at 6:00 p.m. Enjoy seasonal music from the Arundel Ensemble String Trio in celebration of the annual lighting of The Driskill Tree. FREE! The Driskill, 604 Brazos St, Austin.
  3. Bevo’s 100th Anniversary – Wednesday, November 30 from 3-5:00 p.m. Bevo XV is making his first public appearance to celebrate 100 years of Bevo. Get your photo taken with Bevo XV. Celebrate with happy hour drinks (21+) and new Bevo 100 merch. Admission is FREE! The University Co-op, 2246 Guadalupe St, Austin.
  4. A Night in Bethlehem – Wednesday, November 30 from 6-8:00 p.m. At A Night in Bethlehem, kids and their families can explore the city at the time of Jesus’ birth. Through hands-on experiences you’ll find out about the most important baby ever. FREE! Holy Word Lutheran Church, 10601 Bluff Bend Dr, Austin.
  5. Movies in the Park: The Goonies – Thursday, December 1 at 4:30 p.m. Movies in the Park is a series of free films brought to you by the Austin Parks Foundation, and presented by the #1 movie theater in America, the Alamo Drafthouse. Pease Park Conservancy is hosting an epic season closer with a pre-show treasure hunt.
