NEW YORK CITY (KXAN) — On Thanksgiving morning, members of Pflugerville’s Hendrickson High School band woke up in New York City to march in the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade.

The band was one of only six high school bands chosen from across the country to play. They flew out on Sunday, after a final practice at the school and a family send off on Friday.

While in New York, the members of the band will be seeing the Statue of Liberty, Times Square, and will even meet some Broadway performers.

Check out their performance above.
