Longhorn fans celebrate 100 years of beloved mascot

AUSTIN, (KXAN) — The Longhorn Network has created a giant card for fans to sign, celebrate and reminiscence over the past 100 years with their beloved mascot, Bevo.

Fans had a chance to sign the giant card Saturday at the University of Texas women’s volleyball match against Kansas State from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Gregory Gym. The card was previously at Charlie Strong’s weekly radio show at the Pluckers at 2222 Rio Grande on Nov. 17 where Strong was able to sign the card himself.

The last chance to sign Bevo’s card is at the Longhorn Network set inside of Darrell K. Royal-Memorial Stadium at 12:30 p.m. on Nov. 25. The game kicks off at 2:30 p.m. and the card will be presented to Bevo during the game.
