Brush fire blazes through field in Travis County

TRAVIS COUNTY, (KXAN) — A fire that has burned approximately 20 to 25 acres in Southeast Travis County has now been contained, said Travis County Fire Rescue spokesperson, Ken Bailey.

Bailey said there are no structures or homes anywhere near the fire. He said the fire was accidental and was caused from someone shredding hay in the fields. No one was injured.

The location of the fire was at Von Quintus Road and U.S. Highway 183 South.
