Try a Unique Pumpkin Slaw This Holiday

Salt and Time Pitmaster Evan LeRoy stopped by with a recipe for Thanksgiving success. He showed us how to make a simple pumpkin slaw using grated pie pumpkin, a sauce of buttermilk and mayonnaise, dried cranberries and torn sage. They’re currently hosting a special Thanksgiving themed dinner is the last in the four-week series which marks the first time Salt & Time opens its doors for Sunday dinner service. The dinner takes place at the East Austin restaurant on Sunday, November 13 from 4-7P.M. $30 per plate includes 3 meats, 2 sides, pickles and bread; much like traditional barbecue. After dinner, guests can head next door to Spun for dessert. The neighboring team will be creating a special Thanksgiving-themed dessert.
