ROUND ROCK, Texas (KXAN) — A father and his daughter who were killed by a racing driver a week ago were laid to rest Saturday.
Tyrone Price and his 12-year-old daughter Cheyenne were walking along the sidewalk of A.W. Grimes when the driver struck them in the crash.
Round Rock Police say two Ford Mustangs were racing when one car clipped a minivan and lost control of the vehicle. Officials are now looking for the driver of a “grabber blue” Mustang that police believe may be responsible for the crash.
Family and friends gathered at the Church of the Harvest in Round Rock where they attended. Pastor Fred Timmons described Tyrone as a family man who loved taking his daughter to church.
The family has set up a gofundme page to help pay for the father and daughter’s funeral services.
