Amber Alert issued for 10-year-old East Texas girl

BULLARD, Texas (KXAN) — Authorities across the state are searching for a 10-year-old girl who is missing and possibly in danger.

The Amber Alert was issued for Kayla Gomez just after 1 a.m. from the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office which is south of Tyler. KXAS reports Kayla was last seen at the First Assembly of God church along US 69 in Bullard. She was last seen wearing a black racquet and jog shirt with a peach-colored skirt.

The suspect is driving a red Cadillac SRX. There is no license plate on the vehicle at this time.

Law enforcement officials believe the child is in grave or immediate danger.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Cherokee County Sheriff’s at 903-683-2271.
