Your old vinyl has already brought sweet music into your life — now it can bring art to your life as well. Hannah White of Smudge Studios dropped by with a record transformation. A fun way to add character to your walls is by spray painting your old vinyls. We took fun stencils, and placed them on our records. You can pick any combination of colors, and spray away! You don’t have to use stencils to make cool designs. Personalize it, and make it your own! Smudge Studios holds classes for ages 10 and up. They have afternoon kid classes, private parties and a weekend wine-and-paint night for adults. They provide two records, spray paint and stencils. All you have to do is come and dress for the mess– don’t wear anything you would not mind getting paint on. Smudge Studios is located on West 38th Street.
