Man in his 30s killed in rollover crash on Loop 360

AUSTIN (KXAN) — A man in his 30s has been killed in a crash on Loop 360, Tuesday night.

Only one car was involved in the northbound crash, according to Austin-Travis County EMS. Medics, who were called to the scene at 7:15 p.m., say the crash happened in the 100 block of Capital of Texas Highway/Loop 360, just north of Bee Cave Road.

Thursday, the medical examiner’s office identified the victim as 28-year-old Elliott Duwain Whitis, of Austin.

EMS says to expect closures in the area. The Travis County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the crash and is assisting with traffic.
