KERR COUNTY, Texas (KXAN) — Human remains found Tuesday morning in east Kerr County, near Interstate 10, have been identified.

Angelica Jimenez, 34, was identified through dental records sent from Mexico. The mother of four has been missing since Nov. 25, 2015 in San Antonio.

The Kerr County Sheriff’s Office say their Criminal Investigations Division is working closely with the San Antonio Police Department, which took the original missing person report.

“Our Investigators have been working non-stop on this case, and, as Sheriff, I am very proud of the speed in which they were able to search the data bases, sift out other possibilities, and get the records to confirm the identity,” Sheriff Rusty Hierholzer said. “We have notified the next of kin and have also expressed our deepest sympathy to them.”

Investigators are now working to develop a timeline of Jimenez’s activities leading up to the day she went missing and determine whether or not foul play exists.

Police said they found the victim’s remains wearing size 5.5 “Shoes for Crews” shoes, size 4 pants, a black polo shirt with a red pinstripe and Snoopy Christmas socks. Anyone with information on the case is asked to call the Kerr County Sheriff’s Office at 830-896-1216, and ask for Captain Carol Twiss or Kerr County Crime Stoppers at 830-896-8477.
