AUSTIN (Texas)- A Pokemon themed charity walk aims to bring gamers together for a cause Saturday from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Mueller Park.

Catch Em’ for a Cause will be a one-mile course around Mueller Lake Park that will take attendees by the area’s “Pokestops” in order to raise money and buy toys for Dell Children’s Medical Center’s Child Life Department. The more miles the gamers walk, the better prizes you’re able to win.

Prizes include two Pokemon Go Plus, three external cell phone battery packs and more that will be announced at the event.

The event is hosted by SideQuest, a non-profit charitable organization that is dedicated to connecting community and charity. Their mission is to raise money for charitable causes with ties to the Rooster Teeth community, gaming and other community interests.
