AUSTIN (KXAN) — A Central Texas restaurant known for its stunning views overlooking Lake Travis is offering a $500 reward if you can catch two burglars.

Surveillance video shows the first break-in on Aug. 3 and the second in September at The Oasis. Two men waited for the last person to leave the parking lot. Then they broke in and took several bottles of alcohol worth $1,000.

The second break-in in early September was around 1:30 a.m. A man broke a glass door on the side of the restaurant. He stole between 15 and 20 bottles of alcohol.

Police were notified after the first break-in and while The Oasis was waiting on the investigation the second burglary occurred. In their own safety efforts, The Oasis has stepped up security with new sensors, alarms, increased lighting, and cameras.
