Multiple K2, heroin overdoses reported in Austin

AUSTIN (KXAN) — Austin-Travis County EMS says two people were in cardiac arrest following heroin overdoses in Austin, part of multiple K2 incidents and heroin overdoses reported Tuesday night.

Austin police, the fire department and EMS are at the scene of multiple incidents. The condition of those affected is not currently known.

On Monday, 24 people were arrested and charged with dealing K2 near the Austin Resource Center for the Homeless (ARCH). Eighteen people still have warrants out for their arrest.
