We began today’s with bathroom beautification — It’s definitely one of the most used rooms in your home, so it should be not only functional, but even fabulous if you can swing it. Heather Blue-Harkovich stopped by with her ways to freshen up. Cosmetic changes can be done in a flash. The biggest impact starts the walls. Adding a fun wallpaper to your bathrooms immediately spruces things up, and is more cost effective than adding wallpaper to a large space like a bedroom. The next tip Heather gave us is that lighting is the jewelry of the home; Make a statement! Get rid of the light fixtures the builders might’ve put in, and add a few sconces. They are helpful for the mornings when you’re putting on your makeup, and they really add character to your home. Interesting mirrors are another way to upgrade your bathroom. Make sure your original mirror wasn’t glued on. A wood or metal frame looks great along with mother of pearl. A far as hardware goes, brass and crystal will certainly make your bathroom pop. It’s very easy to trade these out for what was in your bathroom. Accessories was the last tip Heather gave us. Swap out your soap dispensers and toiletries with something trendy.
