AUSTIN (KXAN) — With record voter turnout expected this year, many voters are heading to the polls for early voting. 

Starting today through Nov. 4 you can vast your ballot early for the presidential election, congressional races and other local races that will impact you.

  1. SPORTS: Second most attended year of F1: With big ticket draws like Taylor Swift and Usher, organizers say after worrying about declining ticket sales, this year’s race drew in more people than expected. “This is absolutely the best buzz we’ve had since the first year,” said Bobby Epstein, Chairman of the Circuit of the Americas.
  2. CRIME: Woman shot at San Marcos party: Police are looking for the suspect who fired several shots at a large party in San Marcos early Sunday morning injuring an 18-year-old woman. The suspect is identified as a thin-built black male wearing a green jacket and beanie hat. He was last seen in a white colored sedan with aftermarket tires and rims.
  3. WET WEATHER: Sprinkles followed by sunshine: Scattered rain will be applauded by claps of thunder rolling through overnight.
