DIY Spooktacular Nail Art

If you don’t have time for a costume or you just can’t think of what to be, you can still show your Halloween spirit by rocking festive nails. It will be BOOtiful, hands down. Elaine from Lacquer stopped by the studio to show us how to create a spiderweb. Using a striping brush start at the base and make three lines. Connect with half moons to finish off the web. Then put two dots stacked on top of each other. Lastly, add legs for the spider and you’ll have a spiderweb for your fingers. If you don’t have professional nail art tools;  you can use a toothpick and the end of a bobby pin. Both objects work great!

Lacquer Nail Salon is hosting a grand opening to the public for their second location by The Domain (located on Burnet Rd.) on Tuesday, November 8th from 5 to 8 P.M.
