1 dead after two car collision in Buda

BUDA, Texas (KXAN)- A two car collision left one woman dead in Buda on Sunday morning, according to the Buda Police Department.

The crash occurred on Interstate 35 at Exit 217 in Buda on the southbound side at approximately 7 a.m. Sunday morning, said Brittany Tate, Buda Police Department spokesperson. The vehicle of the deceased woman also had four additional passengers that were all transported to University Medical Center- Brackenridge with minor, non-life threatening injuries. The woman was the front seat passenger.

The other vehicle involved in the crash had only a driver and she was checked out on the scene.

Authorities have not released the names of the individuals involved. This crash is currently under investigation.
