AUSTIN (KXAN) — The Austin City Council meeting Thursday was not explosive as others have been this year but there were still some big developments. Austin Monitor’s Mike Kanin explains why the Grove at Shoal Creek development is moving forward as well as the push for Austin’s mobility bond.

The council also postponed a vote on whether or not to lease out traffic signal space to wireless communications providers to attach small cell antennae. The small cell antennae will increase cell capacity and reduce areas of insufficient cell service.
