How to Make a Kickin’ Pork Kimchi Stir Fry

Stir fry is a classic a lot of us love, but you probably haven’t had it quite they way they make it at Kome Sushi Kitchen. Chef Take stopped by and showed us the recipe for their version. First, we made the stir fry sauce: Soy Sauce, Sriracha, Chili Powder, Sesame Oil and Honey. Chef Take sauteed pork over a hot pan using sesame oil. The pork was browned and crispy.  He then added his spiced kimchi, or fermented cabbage. Kome is also having a 5th anniversary special this Friday, Oct. 21st. Food will be 20% off, and they will be giving out their original Kome bandanas to customers. You can find their menu and hours at or call 512-712-5700. Kome Sushi Kitchen is located on Airport Boulevard. provides commenting to allow for constructive discussion on the stories we cover.
