Halloween is the perfect time to get our fluffy friends in on the fun. I mean what’s cuter than a dog in a costume, right??
But safety first! Julie Strong of Dogtoberfest came by to tell us how to be cautious and still have em’ looking cute. Dogtoberfest is happening Saturday, October 15th from 10 A.M. to 4 P.M. at the Domain. There will be over 60 local dog related vendors. There will be a wiener dog race and many other events for the pups. Not all dogs like costumes and Waylon is one of them. Instead try putting on a festive bandanna around the neck. Julie then showed us other dogs who don’t mind rocking a costume. Mellow is a Skeleton– it’s easy because it’s a harness that attaches to your leash and a hat. Next is Lexi a Ladybug and Sherri with a bull rider on her. A tip Julie gave us is make sure the costume is a great fit. Make sure your furry friend is comfortable and safe. All costumes seen on the show are flame retardant.
