Suspicious package determined to be jar of okra

AUSTIN (KXAN) —  Austin police have reopened East 10th Street by the Interstate 35 frontage road after reports of a suspicious package turned out to be a jar of pickled okra.

The call came in to police around 10:57 a.m. on the 600 block of East 10th St. Officers were on the scene investigating, but have now given the all-clear.
