AUSTIN (KXAN)- The Austin Police Department are searching for a man who robbed an undisclosed amount of money from a South Austin bank Saturday morning.
Police were notified at approximately 11:33 a.m. of the robbery from the Bank of America located at 701 Stassney Lane. APD said a bank teller was handed a note from the suspect letting her know it was a robbery.
The suspect is described as a white male, 25-30 years old, six feet tall, facial hair and was seen wearing a white thermal shirt and blue jeans.
Police do not know which direction the suspect went or if he left in a vehicle. APD asks if anyone has information regarding the robbery to call the police.
