Missing Austin woman with disabilities found safe

AUSTIN (KXAN) — A woman who suffers from brain tumors who went missing Wednesday has been found safe.

According to Austin police, Angela Gonzales was last seen on Wednesday morning around 7 a.m. on Garcreek Circle, near the Travis County Expo Center.

The 51-year-old has mental disabilities and police were concerned about her welfare. She was seen wearing a Texas orange shirt and maroon sweat pants. She has a tattoo of a pink heart with wings on her right shoulder blade.

Gonzales is approximately 5’2″ with shoulder length black hair and brown eyes. She is carrying a red and black cross body backpack.
