AUSTIN (KXAN) — It’s finally time to bring out those jackets as you’re waking up to the coolest morning since spring.

The fall-like feeling from Friday’s cold front is still making for a chilly forecast, with many communities waking up in the 40s. There is even a slight chance of rain later in the week.

  1. Make your voice heard in 2016 election: After Sunday night’s heated presidential debate, many Americans are ready to head to the polls. The clock is ticking on the time left to register. Texas has been called discriminatory for not telling voters they can register even if they don’t have an ID.
  2. Texas Capitol vandalized: A Fort Worth man is behind bars after damaging a piece of Texas history. The 22-year-old broke in the capitol and damaged a portrait of the former Texas Governor Fletcher Stockdale.
  3. Bodies found in crashed vehicle: A man and woman were found dead in a vehicle that crashed weeks ago in Leander.
