Prohibition Creamery continues to generate quite the buzz with drinks that will give you quite the buzz. Founder Laura Aidan came by the studio to show us a milkshake that’s a triple threat, along with a fun treat that’s easy and tasty. We tried a scoop of mezcal vanilla ice cream and topped it off with a shot of Patron XO Cafe. People who might be intimidated by the harsh taste of hard liquors will be surprised at how well the flavors collide. Next, we made Prohibition Creamery’s signature Triple Bourbon milkshake. We added three scoops of bourbon ice cream, milk and a bit of bourbon to a mixing glass. We mixed it for about a minute and finished it off with their home made bourbon whipped cream. Prohibition Creamery is located on east 7th Street and have a selection of non-alcoholic ice cream, wines, beers and liquors along with their boozy treats.
