Fall planting season is a great time to get your hands dirty. If you’ve ever wondered how to get a more lush and full look for your garden containers, there is a tried and true method that’s easy to remember and will have you planting a winner every time.Colleen Dieter of ATXgardens.com stopped by to show us how. She showed us that the basics of container gardening is all about Thrill-Fill-Spill. Thrillers are plants that have a lot of height, and give the container a dramatic look. For the filler, look for something that grows at a lower height and that grows to fill in the space. The last, filler is a draping plant that hangs over the edge of a container to fill that space as well. Another fun accent that has become very popular for containers is reindeer moss to cover the dirt with a pretty pop of color.
