In a town full of innovative ideas and creative food and drink, it’s fun to see what’s up and coming. Sometimes you just can’t beat a classic. Erin Fohn is brand manager for Hopdoddy Burger Bar. She stopped by Studio 512 to share their take on a tried and true cocktail. The “Hey, Neighbor!” is a friendly, spicy treat that may be a little different from what you’re used to. This bloody mary is made with beet and tomato juices and local vodkas. We used Dripping Springs in our’s giving it the perfect zing. The most unique thing about Hopdoddy’s cocktail is the fact that they garnish the drink with pickled beets that they make everyday in house. You can stop in for a bite and a beer at any one of their three locations on South Congress, West Anderson Lane or The Triangle. Go to hopdoddy.com for more on their menu and hours.
