The slightest adjustment can make a world of difference when it comes to standard workout moves. You know Kim Eagle is always pushing us to challenge ourselves and reach our best level of fitness. That’s what we worked on today. A simple standing bicep curl can burn more calories if you raise a leg, kick your leg out or any modification that uses your core muscles. The next move we did was a basic lunge, but instead of coming up we went into a warrior three pose those familiar with yoga might know. Extend your triceps, keep your core tonight and maintain your balance. The last exercises we did were in the plank position. Put a weight behind your knee and lift your leg up. Feel the burn when you lift that heel up. Make it even harder by taking one hand off the ground and keeping yourself balanced. In a plank, you can lift one arm with a weight up and do the tricep extensions. For all of these workouts, you can do three sets of eight or ten.
