ROUND ROCK, Texas (KXAN)– An hour of prayer will be hosted in Round Rock this evening for law enforcement, first responders and the community from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Round Rock Police Department.

The event, “Covered: A night of community-driven prayer for law enforcement, first responders and the community we serve” is being hosted by Before The Call Goes Out, a group that was created to lend prayer and support to the wives of first responders. They are able to cover first responders before their first call of their shift goes out to help with encouragement.

On the event’s Facebook page the group said, “It’s time to be bold, being obedient to what we feel God wants us to do to glorify Him. Supporting each other in prayer, to build an even stronger, unified community. We can’t wait to see what God has in store for Williamson County.”

According to a post made by RRPD, Pastor Derrick Zwerneman, Celebration Church, will be participating in tonight’s prayer event.
