Boot Scoot and Boogie at Austin’s Staple Saloon

One of Austin’s landmarks and icons is The Broken Spoke Saloon. Established in 1964. James M. White built it, named it and still owns it to this day. We got a chance to speak with his daughter, an Austin legend, Terry White. She is full of energy and passion and welcomes all. They are known for their line dancing and killer lunch specials. Terry gave us some tips to being a great dancer. If you are a gal…FOLLOW. It’s the only way to make you look good. The Broken Spoke is filled with history. The Whites want everyone to feel welcomed and love when they scoot on in. They offer dance lessons Wednesday through Saturday at eight o’clock at night. There are always events going on, so feel free to go online and check out what’s happening. So, if you are looking for good drinks and good dancing, boot scoot on over to get your boogie on at The Broken Spoke.
