Man arrested for allegedly sexually assaulting a child at a North Austin library

AUSTIN (KXAN) — Austin police arrested a man accused of sexually assaulting a child Saturday afternoon.

It happened at the Austin Public Library North Village Branch on Steck Ave. at around 1:23 p.m.

Police responded to the disturbance call when they found out a 30-year-old allegedly sexually assaulted a girl at the location.

The suspect was arrested at the scene.

No further information has been released at this time.
